this month in science

this month in science we started a human impact project where we first had to pick the topic you most liked so i picked waist.  When we got in our group we had to think about what we were going to do with our campaign. So David  had people come so they can talk about the different topic so we can get a idea
then after that we had to think about a design that we wanted to do for the shirts that we were making. Then we had to come thing to say for the shirt like what we wanted it to say so they can understand what the photo means. earlier in the month we did a survey on human impact then after we got all the data we need then we put it into the computer so it can be graphed.

what we learned this week was to do survey. we learned how to ask people on the street the questions you need to be answered . i learned how much people care and don't care about the community. we learned how to design the shirts the right way because you have to think about the way the shirt is. and lastly how to do a this month in science

Alien Plants in Antarctica

This article is about how scientists think that aliens or tiny animals would be likely to spread as the climate warms that what researchers says." The Environmental Protection Agency says its will delay controversial water pollution standards for Florida lakes, river and streams to the state more time to draft its own rules".  The main point to this article is that it show the way the the pollution affect the climate. I think is article show us and help us understand how and what is affecting the climate. I wonder why do they think that alien and tiny animals would spread as the climate warms? why so they think the climate is changing? whats making it change?

Wasted: New York City's Giant Garbage Problems

This was about how people trow there garbage on the floor everyday and the way it hurts us and where it  goes.
They said " today, we collect garbage with trucks that use high-polluting diesel fuel and then dump that garbage onto the floor of waste transfer stations that are typically located in poor neighborhoods. we then scoop the garbage up off the floor and load it onto large trucks that also burn high-polluting diesel fuel and ship it to landfills and waste to energy incinerators located away from New York City." This is what they do with the garbage the point of this article was what goes on with the sistem with garbage.
What i thought about the article was that it was very helpful to help us understand that what happen with the garbage after we throw it on the floor and what they do to it. The question that i still have is why dont they have recicle bends people would bottles there and you have a better chance that people would  recicle and it would make everything easier for everyone!! i wonder if they would find a way to get rid of the garbage without polluting our earth..
